              The Department of Licensing (DOL) is hiring for  an Applications Architect!!!

Your Opportunity:

Engage and communicate with all levels of staff from technologists to executives, leading high-visibility, high-impact business and IT decisions and providing strategic consultation and guidance through rapport, presentation, and visual artifacts.

Develop/manage agency’s application architecture and integration framework. This includes standard application development lifecycle, application programming interface and design patterns, application interoperability standards, application security framework, mobile development practices, software quality assurance, usability and accessibility standards.
Manage and analyze the IT application portfolio for end of life planning and business capability gaps/opportunities. Develop and manage application roadmaps and software retirement, working with service line architects on end of life planning.
Lead the governance activities associated with application architecture assurance and compliance.
Facilitate application developer forums and community of practice groups. Provide assistance to internal developers, vendors, architects on application and solution architecture standards and best practices.
Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards with business and technology teams. Participate on statewide strategy teams regarding new initiatives.
Evaluate product architectures, conduct options analysis, and make recommendations based on business strategy.
