Team Red Dog has been providing Seattle-area clients with custom staffing solutions and high-touch, personal service for more than 17 years. We hire on-demand talent and teams who specialize in the fields of Marketing, Digital/Creative and Analytics for contract, permanent and project roles.

We are looking for a creative, ambitious and passionate HR Generalist to join the Red Dog Team.

You will manage the company’s payment lifecycle, employee benefits, business management and privacy policy communications related to HR for this 50+ employee (and growing) company. Strong HR background, Project Management skills, an inquisitive mind and the ability to move quickly in our fun and fast-paced environment is exactly what we’re looking for. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • On-Board New Employees
    • Interface with candidates and new hires
    • Manage employee New Hire process and associated paperwork/documentation
    • Track and manage employee data (Paychex)
    • Track commission referrals and payments
    • Set up computer peripherals and access to accounts
  • Off-Board New Employees
    • Off-boarding meeting
    • Collect badges/return to client as needed
    • Off-boarding management, intake and summary reports/process
  • Manage Payment Lifecycle
    • Manage PTO accounting
    • Track and manage monthly employee time reports
    • Manage PO tracking – tracks monthly billing amounts against statement of work (SOW)
    • Manages tracking system to notify management when PO’s need extending
    • Monthly invoicing
    • Process bi-monthly payroll data and transmit the data to the payroll processing company
    • Monthly payment tracking and credit card reconciliation
    • Track commission payments and payment dates
  • Benefits Management and Reporting (to Principal)
    • Respond and track requests and inquiries related to benefits
    • Manage retirement benefits with 3rd party resource
    • Manage health insurance benefit information
    • Manage internal education tool
    • Prepare reporting as needed for Principal
  • Business Management
    • SOW creation
    • PO oversight
  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
    • Manage PO tracking – tracks monthly billing amounts against SOW
    • Manages tracking system to notify management when PO’s need extending
    • Monthly invoicing
  • Compose and manage internal communications tools and corporate email inquiries including:
    • Emails
    • Employee on-boarding guide
    • Employee off-boarding guide
    • Create and manage employee and client survey tools
    • Oversee How-to Guide documentation
    • SharePoint site content
    • Manage daily corporate email requests and route as necessary
    • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in the human resources field
  • Knowledge of employment law, personnel policies and HR procedures
  • Experience handling sensitive information
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in cloud-based software for sharing (ie. Sharepoint, Dropbox, OneNote etc..)
  • Warm interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity at times
  • Able to “figure it out” as needed
  • Ability to attend SHRM meetings on a regular basis

Desires:

  • Knowledge of the staffing industry a plus
  • Knowledge of GDPR compliance
  • EOE and OFCCP compliance
  • Employee coaching and training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or comparable discipline
  • SPHR/PHR Certification
